On Evil In The Church
Judas was 1/12 of the Apostles. Doesn’t it seem reasonable that Jesus knew precisely who Judas was and precisely what Judas would do? And yet Christ still made Judas one of the Apostles.
Is this Christ telling us that there will always be evil in the Church? Is this Christ telling us that God will use that evil for His glory? Does it follow that approximately 1/12 of the Church will have a Judas character?
